When
we started Offshore Inflatables 15 years ago we decided that we
would service everything which we sold. However it has
taken a perseverance to keep up with the design changes and new
technology. As construction techniques developed we have kept
abreast of them. As new materials have evolved we have learned how
to use them. As new and improved adhesive compounds arrived
Offshore tested them. Before
we sell a Zodiac we make sure that we fully understand the
customers intended current and future use. We have met many
boaters who realised they just bought the wrong boat and they
invariably visit Offshore to purchase the right boat for their
application.
A
typical week in the Offshore service department is an opportunity
to meet our customer and their boats. Typical repairs are
pin-holes from a poorly maintained dock wall, tears from
collisions and general wear after several years of hard usage. We
pressure test most boats to locate an elusive leak. We open seams
and reinforce from the inside. We replace transoms, install davits
and dispense lots of advice to our many customers and friends.
What
we want to convey to you is our commitment to service which at Offshore
inflatables is a serious part of our business. We discovered
years ago that if we approach service in a business like manner
and view it as another branded product, our customers will trust
their valuable Zodiacs with us. The Zodiac warranty is an
essential part of selling our Inflatables and is a guarantee from
the manufacturers that they will stand by their product for the
first 5 years of your ownership. What would you expect from the
