Our Dive friends have requirements for an Inflatable boat which are very specific and quite unique, due to the nature of their sport and the business of professional diving. Often we talk with divers who were matched to the wrong Inflatable boat and we wished that we had met them earlier. Divers are no different to other sporting user when it comes to the issues of value. Purchasing a user-friendly Zodiac is important to them and is part of their reputation for professionalism and safety. 

Divers need to transport equipment and the ease with which equipment can be loaded and secured is highly important. The right type of floor is important when placing tanks, regulators and weights low in the boat and distributing divers around the pontoons while in transit to dive sites is a necessity. Supplies can also be a challenge on day-long outings. 

Zodiac makes a line of Futura Inflatables, which is very popular with experienced divers. They are beamy boats with double tunnel hulls, which make for easy tracking while on plane. We also recommend the Bombard line of Black fabric “Commando” inflatables. They are made by Zodiac, have Aluminum floors and really perform for the dive users.

We also supply a line of Rigid Hull boats with inflatable pontoons, which look similar to the all-inflatable designs. These R.I.B’s (Rigid Inflatable Boats) are quite amazing and bridge the gap between a completely inflatable boat and a more conventional boat made of all Fibreglass or all Aluminum.
